The Democratic Republic of the Congo’s Virunga National Park and Uganda’s Mgahinga National Park border Rwanda’s Volcanoes National Park. Mountain gorillas are exclusively found in Rwanda’s Volcanoes National Park, which also shares five of the eight volcanoes that make up the Virunga massif.

The volcanic mountains Gahinga, Muhabura, Sabyinyo, Karisimbi, and Bisoke surround this park. These volcanoes were formerly active, but they are now classified as extinct or inactive.
Golden monkeys are a rare species in Volcanoes National Park and the second most popular animal after gorillas. Golden monkeys are severely endangered primates who live in groups of up to 50 people and eat a variety of things such as bamboo, fruits, and leaves.

Bwindi impenetrable forest national park

Bwindi Impenetrable National Park is one of the adventure park during our golden monkey and Gorilla is located in south-western Uganda, roughly 540 kilometers from Kampala, and is largely accessible by road. It is situated in the districts of Kabale, Kanungu, and Kisoro in Uganda. The ancient woodland is surrounded by heavily produced agricultural fields that were once tropical forests.
The main attraction in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park is the mountain gorillas. The park’s many zones are home to an estimated 400 mountain gorillas, making it a popular tourist attraction. Mountain gorillas live in these sectors, which are spread across the park and home to a number of fascinating gorilla families.

Mountain gorillas in Bwindi

Mountain gorillas in Bwindi live in close knit family groups led by a silverback, an adult male. The silverback has several privileges, such as the authority to feed first and chooses where to dine and sleep. The Silverback Gorilla is up to three times as heavy as a normal full human, as well as his shaggy hair contributes to the bulky appearance, giving him a very imposing and ominous appearance. The calm and tranquil nature of these apes prevents them from being readily provoked. Whenever, they feel so threatened or believe their family is in danger, they are much more likely to act aggressively to scare strangers away, but the risk that they will really harm you is quite minimal.
