 Trip Highlights of 6 Days Uganda Gorilla, Chimpanzees and Big Cats Safari.

Day 1: Pick up and Transfer to Kibale Forest National park.

Early in the morning after breakfast, a professional driver and guide picks you up from your resident or hotel in Kampala and transfers you to kibale Forest National park which has a great spectacular landscape and lunch en-route in fort portal. After you can proceed and encounter the beautiful crater lakes and have a chance to view the terraced tea estates. You can have dinner and stay overnight.

Day 2: Chimpanzee tracking and Travel to Queen Elizabeth national park.

Chimpanzee Tracking: At exactly 7:30am you will be driven to the briefing centre and after briefing at 8:00am, you will start the chimpanzee tracking and you will be led by the park ranger who allocates you from where the chimpanzees were last seen the previous day with gainful sights of birds, monkeys, plants and the forests among others.

In conclusion, after finding them, the park ranger will give you one hour to experience unforgettable moment of meeting this great ape face to face as well as taking photographs of them.

Travel to Queen Elizabeth National park; after having lunch you can go to Queen Elizabeth national park which is a home to biodiversity of wild animals. You can have dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 3: Game drive and Boat cruise

Game drive:  Morning hours is  the best way to adventure the early raiser after having aroma coffee tea, where you will be able to see large numbers of animals along kasenyi plain such as herds of elephants, solitary buffalos, antelopes, lions, warthogs, waterbucks, bird life among others.

Boat Cruise: After having lunch you can go for an exciting boat cruise and great sights of water species and other wild animals along the channel such animals include elephants, buffalos, waterbucks, crocodiles, hippos, birds etc.

Day 4: Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest.

You can embark on a journey to Bwindi by driving through the Ishasha sector. Along the way, you will encounter unforgettable sights of tree-climbing lions and other types of wildlife.

Day 5: Gorilla Trekking and Batwa Community Visit.

You can go on a gorilla trekking tour with a guide at the park headquarters while bringing packed lunch. The guide will give you instructions on what to do and what not to do during the trek.

The trek can take anywhere from 2 to 8 hours, and sometimes even a full day, due to the gorillas’ movements. Once you find the gorillas, you’ll have a great experience and can take photos. It’s important to bring bottled water, sunglasses, a raincoat, and a non-flash camera.

After the trek, you can either go back to the lodge or visit the Batwa community. You’ll have the opportunity to interact with the Batwa people, listen to their stories, and enjoy their traditional dance. You can have dinner and stay overnight..

Day 6: Travel Back to Kampala:

On your last day of 6 days Uganda primates and wildlife safari, you will walk around the lodge with great sights of birds, thick forest. You will drive out of the park to Kampala with a visit to Igongo culture centre to explore the tradition of Ankole culture. Lastly, you will proceed to the equator and take photographs.
