Day 1: Arrival in Kigali
Day 1: Arrival in Kigaliday one of arrival in Kigali, you will meet your guide/driver who will welcome you to our country of a thousand hills afterwards the guide/driver will take you through the the itinerary, and later you will transfer to the hotel for refreshment and relaxation in Kigali for dinner and overnight.
Day 2: Transfer to Akagera national park
after the morning breakfast transfer to kagera national park, its 2 hours drive from Kigali to akagera national park, reach in time for the Exclusive boat ride along lake ihema, where we shall see a number of the African big five, Lion, leopard, elephants, buffalos, and plenty of another animal will be seen, on the boat cruise, we shall see crocodiles and a number of hippos.do the game drive and late evening sundowner with an evening with an extra game drive . After the game drive, we return to the hotel
Day 3: Transfer to Volcanoes National Park
Drive to volcanoes park with a city tour of Kigali and lunch in Kigali at Serena hotel or at Millecolline this drive is 5 hour’s drive from akagera national park to Volcanoes park, and proceed to volcanoes park overnight at upper luxury Singita kwitonda lodge for upper luxury lodge strongly recommend this hotel, the location and amazing view for the family.
Day 4: Gorilla trekking
Drive for an early morning briefing about the gorillas after enjoying the best gorilla trekking experience which will take about half a day, and return to the lodge in the evening with an optional visit to the dianey Fossey campus of Elen DeGeneres or visit the Ibiwachu cultural performance with the best performance of Kinyarwanda culture and norms
Day5 . Transfer to Lake Kivu
after the morning tea, you will leave volcanoes park and drive to lake Kivu, on this day we shall visit the tea plantations and after proceeding to lake Kivu, we shall have a boat cruise on the famous lake and have the chance to do the boat cruise to visit the hot springs, the cruise will show you how the locals make it on their day to day life, we shall be enjoying the viewpoint of Nyiragongo active volcano from a distance and the sunset cruise here is amazing don’t miss the long linage fishing activities the fishermen do at light to get the silverfish and a visit to local markets and to the art and craft Centre is awesome. After head to the hotel for the overnight
Day 6: Departure
This is the day we have to drive back to Kigali depending on the departure flight time so it’s a 4-5 hour drive from Serena lake kivu to Kigali .so we can leave at any time of your choice. once we get to Kigali, we shall visit kimironko market and kapraki local markets for crafts depending on your flight departure time and makes the end of 6days primate and wildlife safari in Rwanda
