Introduction

Detailed Itinerary day by day

Day 1: Travel to Jinja for White Water Rafting on River Nile

You will arrive in Entebbe/ Kampala a day before the the start of this thrilling safari. You will start this great safari taking the route to Kayunga/ Jinja and conduct to white water rafting on the wonderful Nile River.

Upon arrival in Kayunga/ Jinja you will go for rafting. You may opt for the straining yet interesting grade5 or a lesser tedious grade of at least grade 3.You will enjoy the delicious fish delicacies and golden beer produced from nearby domestic breweries.

After this adventures activity, you will be transferred back to Kampala and relax at your hotel in preparation for the next day’s activity.

Day 2: Rhino Tracking at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary and Travel to Murchison Falls National Park

This safari gets interesting as you head to the wilderness of Murchison Falls National Park. At this falls business takes place but however it has to wait for the tourists to enter Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary to experience life as you watch Rhinos charge  and use their horns to dig the ground and as well as break the tree branches. At this sanctuary, Rhinos are endangered species and they are not easily found in plenty.

You can get ready for this activity and you can as well come with your camera to take memorable photographs.

After tracking the Rhinos, you will proceed to Murchison Falls National Park. Later you will arrive at your planned accommodation facility to relax and have an overnight stay.

Day 3: Exploration of Murchison Falls National Park.

On this day of your safari you will get established with Murchison Falls National Park. This falls is greatly endowed with animals, birds, the Nile River and forests that will give you beautiful and ever lasting memories about wild life.

You will explore the park with a game drive in the northern circuit of the park. There you will encounter beautiful rolling plains. On those plains you may view Lions, Giraffes, Hartebeests, Buffalos, Elephants, Bushbucks, and Hippopotami, Spotted hyenas, Wild cat, Lion, leopards as well as many of the other mammals of the park. For the birders, this area supports the secretary Bird, Black- chested snake Eagle, Tawny and Martial Eagles Carmine and Swallow- tailed Bee- Eaters etc.

Later in the afternoon, you will go for a boat trip to the bottom of Murchison Falls where the Nile thunders through a small 7-meter gap down to the delta. This experience is worth taking and it should not be missed.

After docking at the bottom of the falls, you will hike to the top of the falls and enjoy more spectacular views of the falls. This is worth taking and it will create a long lasting memory about your Ugandan visit.

Day 4: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park.

You will be transferred by our tour guide to Queen Elizabeth National Park where you will track chimpanzees and Lions. The distance between Queen Elizabeth National Park and Murchison Falls is relatively long but we believe that you will approach this safari with positivity and enjoy your adventure.

Nevertheless, we will have occasional stop overs to watch the natural features along the route. This includes the Rift valley escarpments, the lakes, bird life and entire village set up.

Day 5: Exploration of Queen Elizabeth National Park.

In the morning you will enter the park to enjoy the thrilling wonders of Uganda’s wildlife. You will explore Queen Elizabeth National Park with a game drive that will expose you to the diverse animal species.

During the game drive, you will see the Big Four members such as Elephants, Buffalos, big cats- Lions, Leopards. Lions are elusive cats and chances of sighting them during the normal game drives are limited. To enhance the chances of sighting them, you will track lions during the game drive in Kasenyi plains. Warthogs, Hunchback carnivals like Hyenas and many more species that are residents to this park are spotted along the Circuits during the drive.

In the afternoon you will go for a two hours’ boat- ride on the famous Kazinga channel- a 36km channel connecting Lake George to Lake Edward. It will be a fascinating time for a classic highlight.

Later on, on the banks you will see water and land Adapted Hippopotamuses yawning and some slashing canines to each other, the crocodiles gaping along the Banks and savannah versions of pigs- the warhog.

Day 6: Chimps Tracking in Kyambura Gorge and transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest

Here you will prepare yourself to meet with man’s closest cousins the chimpanzees in the Kyambura Gorge. You will also have a chance to see other primates including the Colobus Monkeys and Mangabey and animals as well as birds and a variety of butterflies, flowers and other insects.

Chimpanzees are sociable, intelligent as well as communicative. They are also the closest relatives to humans sharing about 98.7 of DNA with humans. Their other traits is the ability to use stones to crush nuts, use empty pods to collect water and using sticks to capture termites from their holes.

After this adventure, you will have lunch and then travel to Bwindi Impenetrable forest for yet another memorable highlight of this safari.

Upon arrival you will relax at your lodge in preparation of the next day’s highlight. Later on you will have lunch and then you will be taken to Bwindi Impenetrable forest for another memorable and wonderful highlight of this safari.

Day 7: Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest.

On this day, you will be briefed by the specialized site rangers and then you will head to the forest. The trekking duration is determined by the position where the gorillas spent the night and their feeding range.

Once the gorillas are found, you are only allowed to spend one hour with them. You will enjoy this wonderful experience as you stand meters  way from the gorillas as they feed, play and watching them bond with their young ones.

You will be amazed at how these creatures have so much resemblance with human beings.

After this activity, you will relax at your lodge.

Day 8: Travel to Entebbe for Departure Flight

After breakfast you will depart to Entebbe Airport for your depature.Along the way, you will enjoy Uganda’s country side which is abundantly blessed with eye catching sceneries such as the hills, vast banana plantations and herds of the indigenous Ankole cow grazing on the road sides.

Along the way you will have a stopover at the Equator that runs through Uganda and you can take wonderful pictures and have fun. There are also Curio and Souvenir Shops that you can visit
