Day by Day Itinerary and highlights of the 12days Mid-range Kenya
Day 1: Arrival at the Jomo Kenyatta international airport and transfer to Nairobi city
Upon your arrival at the airport our representative will welcome you, then transfer you to the booked hotel in Nairobi where you will relax from the long journey. You will be briefed about this safari, all the destinations, the activities and all the arrangements made. Have dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 2: Transfer to Lake Nakuru national park for an afternoon game drive
Check out and depart for Lake Nakuru National Park after breakfast. You’ll get there in time for lunch at Lake Nakuru. After lunch, you head out for an afternoon wildlife drive in Nakuru. The largest draw of Lake Nakuru is its large population of Flamingos around Lake Nakuru.
Lake Nakuru National Park also has a wide variety of animals, such as leopards, that are often be found snoozing on the trunks of the magnificent yellow-barked acacias, lions, buffalos, hippos, waterbucks, warthogs, baboons, the endangered Rothschild’s giraffes, which can only be found in this park in Kenya, white rhino, and the rare black rhino. The Rothschilds giraffe is another distinctive feature of the park, as are leopards, lions, waterbuck, zebra, and eland. Following your game viewing, you will return to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 3: Transfer to Lake Naivasha for boat cruise, then to Masai mara national reserve
After breakfast, you head out to Lake Naivasha for a magnificent boat ride on the lake, which is a true bird sanctuary. You’ll observe hippos socializing lazily in the shallow waters or lurking in deep papyrus vegetation as you go along the lakeshore. Have lunch at a nature lover’s paradise on the shores of Lake Naivasha, set amid Acacia forest.
After lunch, you will travel for 4 to 5 hours to Masai Mara National Reserve. The Masai Mara Reserve is widely regarded as the world’s top wildlife tourist attraction, and it is home to the Great Wildebeest Migration, one of the world’s greatest wildlife spectacles, one of Africa’s Seven Natural Wonders, as well as one of the world’s ten wonders. The reserve also features one of the highest concentrations of Big Cats in Africa. (Leopards, lions, and cheetahs). Upon arrival check in the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 4: Game drives in Masai mara reserve and Afternoon visit to Masai community
After an early breakfast, go on a full-day game drive into the wide savannah parts of the Masai Mara. All of the Big 5 as well as rarer species such as cheetah, bat-eared foxes, Caracal, Jackals, Serval Cats, Honey badgers, and Roan antelope will be visible during the game drive. From July to October, you’ll be able to watch the spectacular Great Migration, which comprises over two million Wildebeest, Zebra, Topi, Eland, and Gazelle migrating from the Serengeti to the Maasai Mara. They are driven to cross crocodile-infested rivers, fighting floods and hopping over hippos while evading predators waiting on the opposite bank, resulting in spectacular predator activity.
In the evening, you will visit a traditional Masai community to discover more about the wonderful Maasai culture and way of life. The Maasai were traditional cattle herders who moved to this area in the seventeenth and eighteenth century from what is now South Sudan. They rarely hunted, with the exception of ritually killing a lion as one of the tests of age. Later, return to your hotel for dinner and bedtime.

Day 5: Another full day game drive in Masai mara 12days Mid-range Kenya
The entire day will be spent on game drives. You drive to the Mara River to see hippo and crocodiles. The Mara has such a diverse and abundant biodiversity that it is difficult to believe: over 450 species of animals have been reported here. Lions, rhinos, hippos, crocodiles, giraffes, wildebeests, zebras, buffalo, warthogs, hyenas, jackals, wild dogs, buffalo, leopard, various antelopes, and elephants are all common. There is also the option of a hot air balloon safari, in which you may fly over the huge Masai Mara region and watch the animals from above. Spend the entire day searching for and observing wild animals. Return to the lodge in the evening for leisure, dinner, and an overnight stay.

Day 6: Drive from Masai Mara to Lake Victoria Musoma Tanzania Side
After breakfast at the lodge, drive to Tanzania, passing through local farmlands and settlements before crossing the Kenya-Tanzania border at Isebania. Drive down the lakefront to Musoma, one of Lake Victoria’s major towns, after completing immigration and border procedures. Board a speedboat from Musoma to an island in Lake Victoria and a private island getaway, or go for an evening walk and bird watching around Lake Victoria. Spend the night at the lodge after dinner.

Day 7: Drive from Musoma to Serengeti national park with en-route game viewing
After breakfast, you will go for a 4- to 5-hour trip to the Serengeti National Park. Ndabaka Gat is the entrance to the Serengeti. To reach the Central Serengeti, you pass through verdant Savannah with Elephants and Giraffes grazing around, a piece of country rarely frequented by tourists. The term Serengeti is derived from the Maasai word ‘Siringet,’ which refers to an infinite plain that you will pass through on your approach to your lodge. On your way to the lodge, look for nature animals. Relax at the lodge for the rest of the day, then spend the evening and night there.

Day 8: 12days Mid-range Kenya Full day game drive in Serengeti Plains
After having early breakfast. You will go on morning and afternoon game drives. Serengeti is a Masai term that means “Endless Plains.” The Serengeti has a “Out of Africa” feel to it, with its wide grasslands and flat-topped Acacia trees. Many people believe that the sunsets in the Serengeti are among the most beautiful on the planet.
Enjoy the game drives while spotting Huge herds of buffalo, wildebeest, zebra, gazelle, topi, elephant, impala, and waterbuck are regularly sighted on the plains of Serengeti National Park, followed by African wild dogs, lion prides, cheetah prides, jackals, leopards, and spotted hyenas. Over 500 bird species may be found in the area and will be sighted throughout the game drive, including the Common Ostrich, Kori Bustard, Southern Ground Hornbill, and Secretary bird. Return to the lodge for some downtime, supper, and overnight after a long day of animal viewing.

Day 9: Morning game drive and then transfer to Ngorongoro crater area via Olduvai Gorge Museum
After an early breakfast, go on a sunrise wildlife drive before embarking on a 2- to 3-hour drive to Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Visit the Olduvai Gorge Museum in the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, which is close to where archaeologists Louis and Mary Leakey discovered the petrified remains of Homo habilis, one of the earliest members of the genus Homo, in the 1960s.
In the afternoon, you will arrive in the crater. This spectacular natural geological wonderland is Ngorongoro Crater. You descend 2000 feet to the crater floor upon arrival. A major volcanic eruption formed the world’s largest unbroken volcanic caldera (264 km2), which is home to an incredible 25,000 large mammals year-round, including some of Africa’s greatest densities of lions and rare black rhinos, wildebeests, and zebras. Day 10: Morning game drive and transfer to Tarangire National park
After breakfast, have a morning game drive inside the crater, which is known as “the eighth wonder of the world” because of its wealth of wildlife and natural beauty. It is one of the few places in Africa where you can go on a game drive and see all five of Africa’s Big Five: Lion, Leopard, Elephant, Rhinoceros, and Buffalo.
Ngorongoro Crater is home to about 500 distinct bird species, including Golden-Winged Sunbirds, Jackson’s Widow birds, Flamingos, Common Ostriches, Secretary Birds, Kori Bustards, Crowned Cranes, Bateleur, Martial Eagles, and Long-crested Eagles. After your visit to Ngorongoro Crater, you will drive to Tarangire National Park, where you will arrive late in the evening. Check into the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 11: Full day game drive in Tarangire national park
During this12days Mid-range Kenya this After breakfast, embark on a wildlife drive to witness various creatures, such as vast herds of elephants. Seeing baobab trees will also be a highlight of your trip.
Tarangire National Park is a beautiful region with granite hills, river basins, diversified vegetative landscapes, and marshes. It is also one of the few places in Tanzania where rare dry-country antelopes like Bisa, Oryx, and Gerenuk can be observed on a regular basis. Impalas, Waterbucks, Baboons, Cheetahs, Caracals, Honey Badgers, African wild dogs, and Dwarf Mongoose will also be seen.
In the evening, go on a guided walking safari in Tarangire National Park, following animal tracks of elephants, buffalos, waterbucks, antelopes, elands, impalas, giraffes, and other species. You will enjoy getting up close and personal with animals. This national park also has approximately 600 bird species, including the vibrant Yellow-collared Lovebird, the Common Ostrich (the world’s largest bird), and the Kori Bustard (the world’s heaviest flying bird). Raptors can also be found in the Park. Bateleur Eagle, Tawny Eagle, Long-Crested Eagle, Martial Eagle, Fish Eagle, and Spotted Eagle Owl are all common raptors. After the game drive, return to the resort for dinner and the night.

Day 12: Transfer to Arusha then to International airport for your departure flight
Wake up at your leisure and have your breakfast at your convenience. After that, check out of the accommodation and begin the trip to Arusha. You will be dropped off at the airport for your scheduled departure flight or at the hotel in Ausha, bringingto 12days Mid-range Kenya and Tanzania combination safari to an end.
