Our Tanzania safari packages cover the northern circuit (Tarangire, Lake Manyara, the Ngorongoro Crater and the Serengeti), the quieter south (Ruaha and Nyerere), Kilimanjaro climbs and Zanzibar beach add-ons. Private 4x4 with driver-guide on every trip, from budget camping to luxury tented camps.
The Serengeti is the stage for the Great Migration: calving on the Ndutu plains from December to March, the Grumeti crossings in June and July and the Mara River crossings from July to October. The Ngorongoro Crater holds black rhino, lion and elephant inside a single caldera, and Tarangire is elephant and baobab country. Chimpanzees live in Mahale and Gombe on Lake Tanganyika.
Serengeti and Ngorongoro entry is US$70.80 per adult per day (including VAT), Tarangire about US$59, and the crater descent costs US$295 per vehicle. A camping safari with our tents and cook starts from about US$1,850 per person for 8 days; lodge-based trips start around US$2,500 for 5 days. Every quote lists park fees line by line.
KLM flies direct from Amsterdam to Kilimanjaro International (JRO); Qatar, Turkish, Ethiopian and Emirates connect from most European cities with one stop. Tanzania issues visas online or on arrival, and Zanzibar is a 20-minute flight from Arusha or Dar es Salaam.
