From Wilson Airport, catch a scheduled flight to Samburu in Northern Kenya. Upon arrival at the bush airstrip, one of the lodge representatives will be there and drive to your safari lodge in the Samburu National Reserve and it is from here that you will spend the next three nights on full board basis as well as enjoying the excellent game viewing, spotting herds of elephants and desert adapted animals such as gerenuk and Beisa oryx

Spend the next few days on your Samburu safari exploring Kenya’s remote and rugged north and see giraffe and Grevy’s zebra. One of the best ways to experience Africa is on foot apart from game drives. You will set out on a guided nature walk with a local Samburu warrior and you will be able to see some of the areas with many bird species. The area is a birders paradise where over 450 bird species are recorded. Guides will teach you about the available plants and their uses as well as how to track animals. During your stay, you can also visit a Samburu village and see how the Samburu people have adopted to this dry and fascinating land.

After an early breakfast and a morning game drive, you will be driven to the airstrip for a scheduled flight to the iconic Masai Mara Safari lodge which is located in the heart of the private conservancy. After a refreshment and lunch, explore the open plains of the Masai Mara known for its many predators and the wildebeest and zebra migration.

Discover the vast African Savannahs while on game drives as you watch herds and their predators. The Masai Mara has one of the highest densities of lions in the whole of Africa. The cheetah and leopards are also present. The game drives are led by experienced guides who will ensure that you have a memorable experience during your stay on a Kenyan safari. You will also enjoy a night drive in the conservancy, spotting those elusive nocturnal animals. Have dinner under the vast African sky surrounded by the sights and sounds of the African bush.

On the final day of your Samburu and Masai Mara Safari, there will be time for last early morning game drive before you leave your Masai Mara safari lodge behind. You will head for an airstrip to board your scheduled flight to Nairobi. If you would prefer accommodation in Nairobi for a night or you prefer extending your safari with a few days in the Serengeti or maybe on Zanzibar Island, you can to one of our representatives.
