Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival at Dar Es-Salaam International Airport
When you arrive at Dar es Salaam International Airport, our staff member will greet you and transport you to the hotel. The rest of the day is open to you to explore at your leisure, whether that is resting at the hotel and making use of the various facilities or venturing out into the lovely streets of Dar-es-Salaam to enjoy the variety of things it has to offer. Overnight in Dar es Salaam in a hotel.

Day 2: Transfer from Dar-es-Salaam to Selous national reserve
After a leisurely breakfast, you will be driven to the airport to catch your arranged flight to Selous National Reserve. When you arrive in Selous, a van will be ready at the airport to transport you to the camp. You will get there in time for lunch before embarking on your initial game drive in the afternoon, as well as any other activities provided by the camp. The stunning Selous Wildlife Reserve is a World Heritage Site and the greatest stretch of a wildlife reserve in Africa. The area is vast, pristine, and virtually untapped. It is almost four times the size of the Serengeti and broader than the entire country of Switzerland, with 55,000 square kilometers of rolling savannah, lakes, rivers, and deltas. This distinctive natural reserve is habitat to the world’s highest concentrations of elephants, as well as some of Africa’s most private and pioneering boating safaris. Selous Game Reserve provides excellent options for game viewing by vehicle, foot, and boat. After the first game drive, you will retire to a hotel for dinner and a night’s rest.

Day 3: Full-day game drives in Selous national reserve
This morning, you’ll enjoy an early breakfast at your camp or lodge before heading to the Selous Wildlife Reserve gates for a full day of game viewing in Africa’s largest wildlife reserve, Selous. This entire day shall be spent in the big game reserve on wildlife game drives in search of animals and birds, with the option of going on a road or boat game drive. Expect to witness gazelles, giraffes, impalas, elephants, wildebeests, kudus, and zebras, as well as African wild dogs, which are the rarest of all. Enjoy a full-day wildlife drive in Selous, which also has big cats including leopards and lion prides. Return to the camp for dinner and rest

Day 4: Morning guided nature walk and flight to Zanzibar Island
Following a hearty morning meal, you will go on a walking safari in the Selous Game Reserve, a once-in-a-lifetime chance of getting up close and personal with wildlife while exploring the African wilderness on foot. For protection from wild creatures, you will be accompanied by an armed ranger who is also a licensed naturalist. You will then be taken to the airstrip, where you will board a flight to Zanzibar. You will be transported to the hotel upon arrival. The rest of the day is yours to explore Zanzibar at your leisure. Finish the day with dinner and an overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 5: Full-day relaxation on Zanzibar Island
Awake to an entire day of free leisure on Zanzibar Island. Coffee at the hotel then heads out to enjoy this region in the way that suits you best, doing as many excursions as you choose in the Nungwi area. Enjoy beach activities such as boat rides to Indian Ocean Islands, scuba diving, and snorkeling at your beachfront hotel. These activities are optional and incur additional expenses, tasting the local cuisine at places of your choice, or simply relaxing on its paradisiacal beaches with a good book and occasionally taking a swim in the turquoise waters. Finish the day with dinner in the evening. Spend the night in a hotel.

Day 6: Morning exploration of Stone Town and transfer to the Zanzibar international airport for scheduled departure flight
After breakfast, you will go to Stone Town for a variety of tour activities. A slave market excursion, Spice tour, and Prison Island visit will be among the activities. These excursions are optional and incur additional expenses. In Stone Town, have lunch. This safari will come to an end in the afternoon when you are driven to Zanzibar International Airport for your booked trip back home.
