4 DAYS TANZANIA ADVENTURE TO METERUNI TARANGIRE AND NGORONGORO, Tanzania is a country in East Africa known for its huge wilderness regions. The plains of Serengeti National Park, a safari destination teeming with the “big five” species (elephant, lion, leopard, buffalo, and rhino), and Kilimanjaro National Park, home to Africa’s highest mountain, are among them. Offshore are the tropical islands of Zanzibar, which has Arabic influences, and Mafia, which has a marine park where whale sharks and coral reefs can be found.

This article describes a four-day Tanzanian journey to two of Tanzania’s most popular destinations: Tarangire National Park, Ngorongoro Crater, and Materuni Falls. It begins and ends in Arusha. With the assistance of our knowledgeable driver guide.

Tarangire National park

One of the commonplace to tour on our 4 days Tanzania adventure is tarangire  You will enjoy a game drive and a guided walking safari in Tarangire National Park

Tarangire National Park gets its name from the Tarangire River, which runs through the centre of the park and provides year-round water for the park’s fauna and birdlife. During the dry season, a significant number of different species of animals congregate here, making it the best area to photograph them.

Its natural environment consists primarily of Acacia woodland and massive African Baobab trees, with vast marsh areas in the south. Tarangire National Park is said to have some of Africa’s largest elephant herds. By chance, you can also witness tree climbing African pythons at Tarangire.

Tarangire National Park has migratory and resident birdlife and is thought to be a birdwatcher’s paradise, with over 350 distinct species reported to date. Tarangire’s other fauna includes the uncommon Oryx, impala, giraffe, zebra, lion, leopard, and other varieties of gazelles

Ngorongoro crater Area

Afterwards you will be taken to Ngorongoro to descend to floor of crater and spot the big five animals and other wildlife while on game drive

The Ngorongoro Conservation Area has large areas of highland plains, savanna, savanna woods, and forests. The stunning Ngorongoro Crater, the world’s biggest crater, was established in 1959 as a varied land use area with wildlife living with semi-nomadic Maasai pastoralists conducting traditional cattle grazing. Because of the existence of internationally vulnerable species, the abundance of wildlife in the area, and the annual migration of wildebeest, zebra, gazelles, and other animals onto the northern plains, the property is of global importance for biodiversity conservation. Extensive archaeological study has also provided a long series of evidence of human evolution and human-environment dynamics, including 3.6 million-year-old hominid footprints.

Materuni water falls

The highest waterfall on the Kilimanjaro slopes is the Materuni waterfall, which is located in the Moshi area and rises to a height of more than 150 meters. It is flanked by farms and thick rain forest. Materuni village, the final village before entering Kilimanjaro National Park, is located at an elevation of around 1800 meters. You’ll pass coffee, banana, and avocado fields on the way to Materuni, all of which are set in a tropical jungle. On a clear day, you can see all the way to Kibo caldera and all the way down to Moshi.
