Day 2: Gorilla trekking in Bwindi and transfer back to Kigali city
Meet the driver for a trip to the park headquarters for a briefing on gorilla trekking rules and standards after an early breakfast. Following the briefing, you will be assigned a gorilla family to trek, you will begin the trek in the jungle with an expert park guide. Because gorillas wander about in search of food, gorilla trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park can last anywhere from 30 minutes to 6 hours. When the mountain gorillas are discovered, you are permitted to spend one hour with them in their natural habitat to learn more about their behavior and habits, observe them feeding, breastfeeding, and grooming young ones, snap photos, and record the moments to show people back home after the safari.
You will return to the starting location after an hour with the gorillas, where you will be given a certificate for your participation in gorilla trekking, and then you will head to your hotel for some leisure time.
In the late afternoon, return to Kigali Rwanda via Katuna or Chanika border crossing for an overnight stay in Kigali town or be dropped off at the international airport departure flight depending on the timing of your trip back home. Bringing this brief gorilla trekking expedition to a close
