7-Day Rwanda and Uganda Safari: Gorillas, Chimps & Wildlife Adventure
Day 1: Arrival and Transfer to Hotel
Upon arrival at Kigali airport, you will be met with one of nature nest safaris’ staff and driver/ guides, they will welcome you with a happy faces and later will transfer you to the hotel for an overnight stay and refreshments.
Day 2: Kigali city tour
Leave for a City tour where we shall pay a visit to Nyamata and Ntarama genocide memorial sites, these were catholic churches where people seek refuge as holy places but later were used as ground places for the massacre. After we shall proceed to the Belgian memorial site where the 9 Belgians were killed that sparked off the genocide, then after that, we shall have to tour what we call the holly carse memorial site Known as the Gisozi genocide Museum, this will take us all to the day until time for lunch at Chez Roberts after we shall have to drive to Uganda via the famous volcanoes national park road, the journey will use 2 hours from Kigali to Uganda border Cyanika, go through the immigration formalities, after crossing the border into Uganda kisoro. from the border, we shall enjoy the relaxing drive via the beautiful lake Mutanda, with its beautiful views showing the 3 volcanoes, Muhabula, sabinyo and mgahinga, as we proceed to the primate’s capital,
Day 3: Gorilla trekking
After your early morning wake-up at 6:00 am, enjoy breakfast by 7:00 am, and then leave for the park gate to receive a briefing about the do’s and don’ts. This briefing will guide you through the process, and afterward, you will be allocated your respective gorilla family. The Gorilla Trekking Adventures will take 4-5 hours, after which you will return to the lodge for relaxation. In the evening, we shall visit the pygmy community/Batwa, the ones who used to live in the forest. We’ll spend time with them, enjoying their cultural performance and learning about their cultural norms. Dinner will be served at our hotel as mentioned above.
Day 4: Transfer to Queen
After the morning breakfast, you will transfer to Queen Elizabeth national park through the ishasha sector.do a game drive in the ishasha sector for the tree-climbing lion and continue to the hotel in Queen. sign in the hotel and later go for a boat cruise at kazinga channel. return to the hotel for overnight.
Day 5: Transfer to Kibale national park
Activities
Morning game drive and transfer to Kibale
wake up early and take your morning tea and transfer for the morning game drive in kasenyi area, you will have a chance to see the different wildlife in the park and return to the hotel for the lunch.and later transfer to kibale national park. you will reach in the evening, and sign in at the hotel for an overnight
in the morning leaves for Kibale forest park, the drive will take us through the queen Elizabeth park sector, famous for tree-climbing lions, and cross the kazinga channel which is known for the high concentration of hippos, elephants buffalos and other aquatic animals, as we enjoy our drive to Kibale forest national park overnight at Kibale forest lodge or similar.
Day 6: Chimpanzee habituation
Leave for the morning chimpanzee habituation experience which will make you stay longer with the chimpanzees than the normal chimpanzee trekking, you enjoy an almost full day with these great apes right from the time when they are still in their nest which is an experience to tell, you stay longer than the normal trekking 4-6 hours with the chimps after we shall proceed to our hotel for dinner and overnight
 Day 7: Transfer to Kampala
Morning breakfast after we shall leave for our 7 hours drive to Kampala where we shall have lunch at lake victoria shores while experiencing the breeze, lunch will be. special Nile tilapia.)  at mulungo beach or at the known faze 2 lakeside restaurants overnight
End of the 7DAYSÂ tour.
