Canoe ride through papyrus swamp, track the legendary shoebill.
Early morning drive to Mabamba Swamp. A unique experience: canoe rides through papyrus wetlands searching for the prehistoric-looking shoebill stork, one of the world's rarest birds. Also spot wattled crane, saddle-billed stork, and numerous weavers. Return to Entebbe for overnight.

Transfer to Kibale Forest
Scenic drive to chimpanzee and birding territory.
Drive west through scenic countryside toward Fort Portal. Stop at roadside locations for birding opportunities. Afternoon at leisure or optional crater lakes hike. Arrive Kibale area for overnight.
