Day 1: Drive to Arusha national park and do game drive

Enjoy a peaceful morning journey to Arusha National Park, which is 45 minutes away after breakfast. Go on a morning walking safari with armed rangers, followed by a game drive to explore and experience this spectacular landscape. The game drive will take you past some of the park’s highlights, including the Ngurdoto Crater and Momella Lakes. The views of Mt Meru and Mt Kilimanjaro will be stunning. Colobus Monkeys, Zebras, Giraffes, Buffaloes, Elephants, Hippos, pink Flamingos, and other creatures may be seen. This tranquil 137-square-kilometer park is home to a wide variety of animals and remarkable fauna.  After your wildlife drive, return to your resort for lunch and relaxation. Spend the remainder of the evening wandering around your hotel.

Day 2: Transfer to Tarangire for game drive

Today After breakfast, you will be taken on three hour drive to Tarangire National Park. Check into your hotel or lodge upon arrival for lunch and leisure. Tarangire National Park in Northern Tanzania is a lovely, tranquil park famed for its elephant migration, birdlife, and authentic safari experience. The majority of visitors to the region either avoid Tarangire entirely or visit the park for only a few hours, leaving much of the park untouched.

In the afternoon, go on a game drive to seek for fascinating creatures. The Baobabs, Africa’s largest trees and a haven for many diverse species, are dispersed over Tarangire’s grassy plains. Elephants thrive in this area, with some herds containing up to 300 animals. Discover over 500 bird species, including the spectacular Yellow-collared lovebird, the world’s largest bird, and the Kori Bustard, the world’s heaviest flying bird. Look for zebras, giraffes, elands, gazelles, buffalos, impalas, wildebeests, hartebeests, and waterbuck herds. Return to the lodge for dinner and a night’s rest.

Day 3: Drive to Lake Manyara National park

After a leisurely breakfast, you will go for Lake Manyara National Park, a 2-hour journey northwest. Ernest Hemingway described Lake Manyara National Park as “the loveliest I had seen in Africa.” Lake Manyara National Park provides a compact game watching circuit, with Lake Manyara accounting for two-thirds of the park’s total area. The Great Rift Valley provides a breathtaking backdrop. Check into the lodge and unwind while you wait for lunch.

In the afternoon, go on an exciting game drive to view the famous tree climbing lions and vast groups of pink flamingos. Spotted animals include zebra, wildebeest, bushbuck, dik-dik, and guinea fowl. You’ll meander over bush roads and explore the Lake, which is home to hundreds of Flamingos, as well as the River’s twists and bends, where elephants may be found drinking and playing in the cool waters.

Day 4: Drive to Lake Eyasi for cultural encounter with Bushmen’s and Hadzabe tribe

After breakfast, head to Lake Eyasi village for a full-day cultural trip with the Bushmen and Hadzabe tribes. The Hadzabe live in caverns and wear skin to cover their private parts rather than clothes.

You will participate in their daily activities, such as engaging in hunting expeditions using regional weapons such as arrows and bows, as well as visiting the Hadzabe, who still work on iron melting and designing various iron items and decors, which they exchange with the bushmen who give them meet and offer them knives and arrows. Also, travel around to local farmers and see how they improve onions and other crops. You will return to the lodge in the evening for dinner and overnight.

Day 5: Drive to Serengeti National Park via Olduvai Gorge

After breakfast, you will leave for the 6-7 hour trip to Serengeti National Park, passing via the magnificent Rift Valley. You visit the Olduvai Gorge Museum and Visitor’s Centre, which is close to where National Geographic scientists Louis and Mary Leakey found early hominid fossils and stone tools in 1960.

In the evening, go on a game drive to explore the park’s diverse wildlife. The Seronera River Valley, which is part of the Great Migration, is one of the best places in Africa to see Big Cats (lions, leopards, and cheetahs) on magnificent hunts. Return to your lodge in the evening for relaxation, dinner, and overnight.

Day 6: Full day game drive in Serengeti national park

Following breakfast, you will go on a full-day wildlife drive in the Serengeti’s wide plains, including a picnic lunch. During game drives, explore the Serengeti’s heart, the beautiful Seronera River Valley. The natural beauty of this beautiful valley is truly amazing. Savannas stretch endlessly beyond the horizon. Day 7: Transfer to Ngorongoro crater area for evening game drive

After breakfast, leave on a 2- to 3-hour journey to Ngorongoro Conservation Area, where you will discover the world’s largest Caldera and experience a variety of wildlife including as Rhinos, Elephants, Lions, Zebras, buffaloes, Leopards, Hyenas, and others. You’ll have lunch at the lodge before heading into the crater for a game drive before the sun sets. Return to your lodge for dinner and a well-deserved rest.

Day 8: Descend to Ngorongoro Crater Floor and afternoon transfer to Arusha

You will descend 2000 feet to the crater floor after breakfast. A major volcanic eruption formed the world’s largest unbroken volcanic caldera (264 km2), which is home to an incredible 25,000 large mammals year-round, including some of Africa’s greatest densities of lions and rare black rhinos, wildebeests, and zebras. Take a game drive and see the Big Five: Lion, Leopard, Elephant, Rhino, and Buffalo.

You can also see Golden-Winged Sunbirds, Jackson’s Widowbirds, Flamingos, Common Ostriches, Secretary Birds, Kori Bustards, Crowned Cranes, Bateleur, Martial Eagles, and Long-crested Eagles. Afterwards, ascend to the rim and embark on the drive to Arusha for dinner and overnight.

Day 9: Visit the Materuni village In Kilimanjaro Mountain Area then back to Arusha or International airport

After breakfast, drive to the Materuni waterfalls in the Moshi Kilimanjaro mountain region. You will trek to the Waterfalls. After the ascent, you can cool yourself in the pool at the base of the waterfall. You will be walking through banana farms and coffee plantations, and you will have the opportunity to learn about all stages of coffee production, from planting to roasting. Visit a nearby Chagga tribe, sample their native beverage made from ripe bananas, and learn about their culture and traditions. After lunch, you will either return to your hotel in Arusha or be dropped off at the airport for your planned flight, bringing this 9 days Tanzania wildlife safari to an end.
