Nairobi to Mount Kenya — Sirimon Route to Old Moses
Drive to Nanyuki and start hiking on the Sirimon trail.
Drive about 4 hours to Nanyuki and enter Mount Kenya National Park through the Sirimon Gate. After a picnic lunch, hike the Sirimon trail, the gentlest route to Point Lenana, through old-growth forest to Old Moses Camp.

Old Moses to Shipton’s Camp (4,200 m)
6–7 hours through moorland and the Mackinder Valley.
Follow the Ontulili River across the moorland past the Liki North valley, then climb into the beautiful Mackinder Valley with views of Point Lenana, Nelion and Batian, reaching Shipton’s Camp.
Overnight at Shipton’s Camp

Summit Point Lenana (4,985 m) & Descend to Chogoria
Summit at dawn, then descend the scenic Chogoria route.
An early start for the 2–3 hour push over scree and rock to Point Lenana (4,985 m). After photos, descend past Mintos hut and continue on the Chogoria route, with views of the gorges, to Chogoria Gate camp.

Chogoria to Nairobi
Final descent, then drive back to Nairobi.
Descend for about 2 hours to Chogoria village, where your driver meets you for the drive back to Nairobi.

Nairobi to the Masai Mara
Drive through the Great Rift Valley to the Mara.
Drive about 6 hours west to the Masai Mara National Reserve, with views of the Great Rift Valley, Lake Naivasha and Mount Longonot. Afternoon game drive.

Full Day in the Masai Mara
Full-day game drive with a picnic lunch; optional balloon flight.
A full-day game drive with a picnic lunch in search of the Big Five and rarer species such as bat-eared foxes, caracals and servals. You can swap the morning drive for an optional sunrise hot-air balloon safari.

Game drive to the Isebania border and on to the Serengeti.
