Day 1: Transfer from Mombasa to Tsavo National Park East

After having an early breakfast, you will be picked up by our driver from your pre-lodge, you shall embark on the drive of 5 hours and 200km long to Tsavo East national park via the picturesque Mombasa-Nairobi Highway, passing through farmland and rural Kenya. You will arrive at your booked hotel for Lunch and some relaxation.

Kenya’s largest park, Tsavo East National Park, is the location of tales about ferocious lions. In its vast, untamed landscape, there is a wealth of species to be discovered. The Galana River, with its stretch of lush green foliage, cuts across the park, dividing up this red-dirt savannah. There are more opportunities to see elephants, buffalo, ostrich, and baboons at all other watering places in the park.

In the afternoon you will embark on your first game drive in this vast park, all five members of the big five are free to roam in these parks. Elephants, Cape buffalo, Lions, Giraffes, Gazelles, Zebras, Leopards, Ostriches, and other exotic birds will be visible. The golden Savannah landscape provides excellent opportunities for wildlife viewing. In the evening after the game drive you return to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day2: Full-day game drive in Tsavo East National Park

After early breakfast, you will spend the entire day touring Tsavo East National Park. Both morning and afternoon game drives are available. Although one of Kenya’s greatest rivers, the Galana River, runs across the middle, the topography in Tsavo East is flatter and drier. The river is home to a plethora of species, including Nile crocodiles and hippos. Kudus, waterbucks, reedbucks, and dik-diks are also frequent near the river’s edge.

The legendary “Man-eaters” lions live in Tsavo East National Park. Around 1900, these creatures bludgeoned dozens of railway workers in this park. The park is home to large herds of elephants that migrate from Tsavo West National Park, and the abundant bird life includes 500 documented species.

Explore the Aruba dam, where animals congregate in search of water. After the game drives return to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay

Day 3: Drive from Tsavo East to Tsavo West

Wake up to have an early morning breakfast before being transferred to Tsavo west national park which is an about 2-hour drive and 120km away. You will check in your lodge for some relaxation and lunch before going out for an afternoon game drive at Tsavo west national park.

Tsavo West is a stunningly gorgeous and rough terrain. The grassland habitat includes open grasslands, scrublands, and Acacia forests, as well as belts of riverine vegetation and rocky heights like as the Poacher’s Lookout, from where tourists may observe the bustling animals across the plains below. Tsavo West National Park has some of the most stunning game viewings in the world, with elephants, rhinos, hippos, lions, cheetahs, leopards, and buffalos among others.

You will visit Mzima Springs, the park’s most famous sight, where fish, huge crocodiles, and some sizable hippos live in sparkling, transparent springs. You will get the chance to enter the underwater glass observation chamber and see life in the pool’s depths. Additionally, it provides uncommon photo chances, such as those of gliding Nile crocodiles or hippopotamuses swimming while walking on tiptoe, as well as thousands of fish with a primitive appearance. After having this eventful day you will return to your lodge for dinner and a night’s stay.

Day 4: Transfer from Tsavo West to Amboseli National Park, afternoon game drive

After a leisurely breakfast on day four of your 6-day Kenya safari, drive to Amboseli National Park via Shetani lava flow, an area of folded black lava from an eruption thought to have occurred roughly two centuries ago and now lived in by klipspringers and rock hyraxes. “Shetani” means “devil” in Swahili, offering some insight into how the early villagers felt as they witnessed the lava stream over the land. You will reach Amboseli in time for Lunch, and check in at your lodge for lunch and some rest.

In the afternoon, you will go for an afternoon game drive in this spectacular national park. Amboseli National Park is mainly arid and scarcely vegetated, but its best feature is its lush wetlands, where enormous herds of elephants gather next to the distant, snow-capped Mount Kilimanjaro. Amboseli is home to large predators like lions, leopards, hyenas, and cheetahs, as well as their prey including buffalo, giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, Impalas, ostriches, gazelles, and waterbucks. You will also enjoy the region’s variety of birds, notably raptors. Return to your lodge for dinner and a night’s rest

Day 5: Transfer from Amboseli National Park to Lake Nakuru and do an evening game drive

After having an early morning breakfast, you will be driven to Lake Nakuru national park which takes 7 to 8 hours to reach and about 360km away, you will have End-route lunch. Upon arrival check-in at your lodge for some relaxation and rest.

You will go on an evening game drive in the park, looking for Rothschild’s giraffes, Black rhinos, White rhinos, Cape Buffalos, Leopards, Zebras, Impalas, Lions, Olive baboons, Hyenas, Gazelles, Waterbucks, other animals. You’ll drive along the salty shores of Lake Nakuru to see a dizzying array of birds. Lake Nakuru has officially been designated a national park due to its large flamingo concentration. Other water birds that you may expect to see enormous groups of pelicans, cormorants, egrets, herons, ibises, ducks, Spoonbills, Fish Eagles, and Kingfishers in addition to flamingos. Return to your accommodation in the early evening after visiting the park to relax, have dinner, and sleep.

Day 6: Transfer to Nairobi for departure flight

After having a relaxed breakfast, you will take a short drive to Nairobi city and then eventually to the international airport for your scheduled flight back home depending on the time of your flight.
