Detailed itinerary of the tour
DAY 1: Arrival at the airport and a transfer to the hotel
Upon arriving at the airport, our guide will meet you and welcome you. You will be driven to the comfortable hotel for check-in, then you’ll spend the rest of the day at leisure as you await dinner and overnight rest.

Day 2: Transfer to Samburu National Reserve
After breakfast, you will be transferred north on a 5-hour journey to Samburu National Reserve. Samburu is an area characterized by rolling hills, open plains, and mountains. Samburu is also famous for its great lion population. You’ll arrive at the lodge time for lunch and set out on an afternoon game drive to explore the gorgeous reserve like Samburu Special 5 which are Gravy’s Zebra, Reticulated Giraffe, Beisa Oryx, Gerenuk, and Somali Ostrich. After the engaging game drive, you’ll return to the lodge for dinner and a night’s rest

Day 3: Full-day game drive in Samburu National Reserve
Day 3 of the 15 days Kenya safari and beach tour start with an early breakfast at the lodge. Afterward, you will set off for a full-day game drive in Samburu, a 165-square-kilometer area reserve established in 1985. During the exciting drive, expect to encounter numerous wildlife species ranging from animals such as Lions, Leopards, Cheetahs, African Wild Dogs, Hyenas, Elephants, Buffalo, Hippos, many antelope species like Gazelle, Dik-dik, Impala, Lesser and Greater kudu, Waterbuck to bird species like Vulturine Guineafowl, Taita falcon, Golden pipit, and Secretary bird. The Endangered African Pancake Tortoise and others. The huge Nile crocodiles also take the reserve to be home. Return in the evening for relaxation, dinner, and overnight stay

Day 4: Transfer to Ol Pejeta Conservancy
After having a hearty breakfast, you will be transferred on a 3 to 4 hours drive journey to Ol Pejeta Conservancy located at the bottom of the snow-capped Africa’s second-highest mountain, Mount Kenya. The 360 square kilometers conservancy acts as home to the endangered Black rhinos. Ol Pejeta Conservancy also has the largest Black Rhino population in East Africa including the last 2 remaining northern white rhinos on the planet. You’ll arrive at the lodge in time for lunch and proceed for a game drive on the lookout for the Big 5 and other African animals. You shall also visit Sweetwater’s Chimpanzee Sanctuary to see the intelligent apes who share around 98% of our DNA. Return to the lodge for dinner and a night’s rest.

Day 5: Full-day game drive in Ol Pejeta Conservancy
Wake up, have breakfast, and head into Ol Pejeta Conservancy for full-day game drives. Apart from being famous for the rhinos, the conservancy is also known for its high density of predators including over 60 lions, 30 cheetahs, 20 elusive leopards, 100 spotted hyenas, 30 African wild dogs, black-backed jackals, caracal, serval, and bat-eared fox and also all other Africa’s big five animals. Other animals you shall encounter include zebras, Hippos, Hartebeests, Impalas, Giraffes, Gazelles, Elands, Bushbucks, Reedbucks, Dik-diks, Vervet monkeys, Patas monkeys, Olive baboons, Warthogs, over 300 bird species. Return to the lodge for relaxation as you await lunch and dinner.

Day 6: Transfer to Lake Nakuru National Park
After a hearty breakfast, you’ll embark on a 5-hour transfer journey to Lake Nakuru National Park famous for the soda lake suited on the floor of the Great Rift Valley, lake Nakuru. The Park is also taken by many people as the birder’s paradise. Lake Nakuru National Park is characterized by rocky escarpments and pockets of acacia forest and was declared a national park in 1961 because of its large flamingo population. Arrive at the lodge, check in, have lunch, and proceed for a game drive looking for the wildlife mammals like black and white rhinos, lions, leopards, hippos, endangered Rothschild’s giraffes, and others. You shall also encounter various bird species like flamingos, pelicans, cormorants, egrets, herons, ibises, ducks, spoonbills, fish eagles, and kingfishers. After the engaging drive, you shall return to the lodge for dinner and a night’s rest.

Day 7: Morning Game Drive followed by a transfer to Lake Naivasha.
On this day, wake up, have breakfast, and enjoy one more last game drive in Lake Nakuru Park and later transfer on a 2-hour drive to the gorgeous lake, Lake Naivasha. Lake Naivasha is also Kenya’s highest Great Rift Valley Lake mainly surrounded by acacia forests and the distinctive yellow-green fever tree. The lake is also home to numerous bird life species including wildlife animals like giraffes, buffalo, monkeys, and hippos. Arrive at the comfortable lodge, have a delicious lunch, and spend the whole day at leisure as you await dinner and night’s rest.

Day 8: Boat cruise on Lake Naivasha and a guided Nature Walk on Crescent Island.
Wake up, have a relaxed breakfast, and embark on a leisurely boat cruise across the freshwater lake of Naivasha with close-up views of hippos, waterbucks, and countless water birds. After the boat cruise, you shall head in for another reward-full guided nature walk safari on Crescent Island as you encounter giraffes, zebra, elands, impalas, and other relaxed animals because the predators are absent here. You may also decide to visit the neighboring Hells Gate National Park for more game viewing, cycling, rock climbing, and bird watching. Regardless of its intimidating name, the park is also a heaven destination for wildlife safaris. Return to the lodge for dinner and a night’s rest.

Day 9: Transfer to Masai Mara Reserve
Take your delicious breakfast and set off for a 4-hour drive transfer journey to Masai Mara National Reserve taken by many to be the best wildlife destination on the planet. Masai Mara is home to the Great Wildebeest Migration which is among the Seven Natural Wonders of Africa and the ten wonders of the World. The Masai Mara National Reserve is also home to one of Africa’s highest concentrations of lions, cheetahs, and leopards also known as the big cats. You’ll arrive at the lodge in time for lunch then head in for your first exciting game drive in Masai Mara. After the drive, return to the lodge for dinner and a night’s stay.

Day 10: Full-day game drive in Masai Mara National Reserve
On day 10 of your 16 days Kenya safari & beach tour to Mombasa, you will have breakfast and enjoy a full-day game drive in the amazing Masai Mara National Reserve. The game drive will start before sunrise as most wildlife animals are active in the morning and the late hours of the day with few of them hunting during the day because of the heat. During the drive, you shall enjoy views of numerous wildlife animals suck as Oribi, Kobs, Wildebeest, Lions, elephants, rhinos, Leopards, Cheetah hippos, giraffes, gazelles, buffalos’ warthogs, and many more. Day 11: Morning game drive in Masai Mara National Reserve and a cultural visit to Maasai people
Have a delicious breakfast and head out for another game drive in Mara on the lookout for animals you must have missed the previous day. Masai Mara National Reserve is photography heaven with beautiful African scenery. After the drive, you shall pay a visit to the Maasai village to understand more about the culture and way of life of the Maasai People. At the end of the cultural visit, you may also buy some items locally made by the villagers as an opportunity to give back to the community. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight rest.

Day 12: Transfer to Mombasa for a beach experience.
On day 12 of your 16 days Kenya safari & beach tour to Mombasa, you will have an early breakfast and depart from Maasai Mara to catch your local scheduled flight for Mombasa. Upon arriving in the picturesque Mombasa also known as Kenya’s white and blue city, you shall have the opportunity to relax as you enjoy the best African beach experience.

Day 13: Relaxation at Dian Beach Mombasa
This will also be another remarkable day of your tour experience as you sunbathe and watch the fishing dhows sail across the natural pure waters of the Indian Ocean. While at the beach, you could also do many enjoyable activities such as sailing, canoeing, and windsurfing. Boat trips can also be settled down for you since they reward the opportunity to spot kingfishers, crocodiles, and sometimes dolphins.

Day 14: Another full relaxation day at Dian Beach, Mombasa
On day 14, you shall spend another interesting long day in the sunseeker’s paradise, Diani Beach as you enjoy more of what you had the previous day. From the numerous varieties of water-related activities, you could choose one that suits your intentions best. You could also decide to have a quiet day relaxing or swimming in the clear turquoise water of the Indian Ocean.

Day 15: Transfer to the airport for departure
On day 15, you shall have a leisurely breakfast and proceed to the airport for a scheduled domestic flight back to Nairobi ahead of your international flight. Depending on the time of your scheduled flight for departure, you may have a last opportunity to sunbathe on the beach in Diani before returning back home.
