Entebbe — Mabira Forest — Jinja

Nature walk in Mabira, drive to the adventure capital.

Morning drive east with a stop at Mabira Forest, one of Uganda's last remaining tropical rainforests. Guided nature walk spotting grey-cheeked mangabeys, red-tailed monkeys, and over 300 bird species. Continue to Jinja, Uganda's adventure capital on the shores of Lake Victoria where the Nile begins its epic journey north.

Jinja — Source of the Nile & Adventures

Visit the Source of the Nile, optional white water rafting.

Morning boat ride to the Source of the Nile — the point where the world's longest river begins its 6,650 km journey to the Mediterranean. Afternoon choose your adventure: world-class white water rafting on Grade 5 rapids, bungee jumping over the Nile, kayaking, or a sunset cruise. Jinja is East Africa's adrenaline capital!

Jinja — Sipi Falls

Scenic drive east to the stunning Sipi Falls on Mount Elgon.

Drive east through lush countryside and coffee plantations to Sipi Falls, a breathtaking trio of waterfalls cascading off the cliffs of Mount Elgon. Afternoon guided hike to the first and second falls with panoramic views across the Kapchorwa plains. Watch the sunset paint the falls golden from your lodge terrace.

Sipi Falls — Mount Elgon National Park

Hike into Mount Elgon's ancient caldera.

Full day exploring Mount Elgon National Park. Trek through montane forest and bamboo zones to reach the spectacular Tutum Cave and hot springs. The park is home to elephants, buffaloes, duikers, and over 300 bird species. The ancient volcanic landscapes — cliffs, gorges, waterfalls, and caves — make this one of Uganda's most dramatic hiking destinations.

Mount Elgon — Caves & Waterfalls

Explore caves, coffee farms, and local culture.

Morning visit to the famous Kitum Cave where elephants venture deep underground to mine salt from the cave walls. Afternoon guided coffee tour at a local farm — learn the bean-to-cup journey of Uganda's premium Arabica coffee grown on Elgon's fertile slopes. Evening cultural experience with the Sabiny people, including traditional music and dance.

Sipi Falls — Entebbe Departure

Return to Entebbe for departure.

After breakfast with one last view of the falls, drive back to Entebbe through scenic countryside. Optional stop at Jinja for last-minute shopping or a final Nile-side lunch. Transfer to Entebbe Airport for your departure flight. End of an incredible 7-day Uganda adventure!
