6 Days Amboseli & Masai Mara Safari

Depart Nairobi after breakfast heading south toward Amboseli National Park. Enjoy the changing landscapes as you approach the park with Mount Kilimanjaro dominating the horizon. Afternoon game drive with stunning elephant herds against the Kilimanjaro backdrop.

Full day of game drives in Amboseli. Morning drive to Observation Hill for panoramic views. Visit the swamps where elephants wade and feed. Afternoon drive focusing on predators — lions, cheetahs, and hyenas. Sunset photography with Kilimanjaro.

Morning departure heading north to Lake Naivasha in the Great Rift Valley. Afternoon boat ride on the lake spotting hippos, fish eagles, and pelicans. Optional visit to Crescent Island for a walking safari among zebras and giraffes.

Drive west to the legendary Masai Mara National Reserve. Descend into the Mara via the dramatic escarpment with sweeping views of the savanna. Afternoon game drive in the Mara, searching for the Big Five.

Full day exploring the Masai Mara with morning and afternoon game drives. Visit the Mara River for potential wildebeest crossings (seasonal). Search for leopards in the riverine forest and lions on the open plains. Optional Maasai village visit.

Early morning game drive for final wildlife sightings. After breakfast, drive back to Nairobi arriving by late afternoon. Transfer to JKIA for your departure flight or onward hotel.
