Kigali → Volcanoes NP → Gorilla Trek → Kigali
Early morning drive from Kigali to Volcanoes National Park (2.5 hours). Briefing at park HQ, then trek into bamboo forests to find a habituated gorilla family. Spend one magical hour with silverbacks, mothers and babies. Afternoon return drive to Kigali.
Your adventure begins early. The drive from Kigali takes approximately 2.5 hours through beautiful highland scenery. Upon arrival at Volcanoes National Park headquarters, your guide briefs you on the trek. You then enter the mystical bamboo forests where mountain gorillas roam. After locating a habituated family, you spend one unforgettable hour observing them in their natural habitat. Return to Kigali in the afternoon.
