Immerse yourself in authentic Maasai traditions, from village visits to warrior dances and beadwork workshops.
Float above the Mara at sunrise for an aerial perspective of the migration and savanna landscapes.

From a 3-day Masai Mara safari out of Nairobi to week-long trips that add Lake Nakuru, Naivasha and Amboseli, every Maasai Mara tour we run is private, with your own 4x4 and driver-guide. Stay inside the reserve or in one of the neighbouring conservancies, where night drives and walking safaris are allowed.
The Mara is Kenya's best park for big cats: lion prides, cheetah on the open plains and leopard along the Talek and Mara rivers, all year round. From late July to early October the wildebeest migration arrives from the Serengeti and the river crossings happen, with hundreds of vehicles and a lot of patience. Elephant, buffalo, giraffe, hippo and over 450 bird species are resident.
The Masai Mara National Reserve entry fee is US$200 per adult per day in peak season (July to December) and US$100 per day from January to June; conservancies charge their own fees. Lodges range from about US$150 a night in budget camps to over US$1,000 in luxury camps; a sunrise balloon flight costs around US$450 per person. The drive from Nairobi takes 5 to 6 hours; a 45-minute flight is the alternative.
July to October for the migration, January to February for dry weather and fewer visitors, and the green season from March to May for the lowest prices and newborn animals. Send us your dates and group size and we price the trip line by line within 24 hours.
