Lake Manyara national park can be visited any time of the year, however, the best time for visiting the park is during the dry season which is between July to October and also from January to February. The dry season is also known as the peak tourist season.  During that time of the year, the vegetation is thin and the animals usually come in large numbers to gather around the numbered available water sources which make them be easily spotted by the park visitors, this dry period of the year is mostly recommended to the visitors because the weather is sunny with little rain and the mosquitoes are also reduced and few lowering the possibility of getting malaria. The climate in Lake Manyara national park is moderate and not that harsh, the temperatures are average and consistent all around the year. The early mornings and evenings are usually cold so it’s advisable to carry along warm clothing when going for an early morning game drive. The dry season period is from July – October and also January – February and with afternoon temperatures at an average of about 24°C/75°F and also evening temperatures at an average of about 14°C/57°F.
