Entebbe — Ziwa — Murchison Falls
Rhino tracking at Ziwa, drive to Murchison.
Morning drive north with a stop at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary for rhino tracking on foot — the only place in Uganda to see wild rhinos! Continue to Murchison Falls National Park, Uganda's largest and most dramatic park. Evening relaxation at the lodge.

Murchison Falls — Game Drive & Boat Cruise
Morning game drive, afternoon Nile boat cruise.
Early morning game drive on the northern bank — lions, elephants, giraffes, buffaloes. Afternoon boat cruise on the Victoria Nile to the base of the magnificent Murchison Falls. Hippos, crocodiles & over 450 bird species line the banks.

Murchison Falls — Kibale Forest
Scenic drive south to chimpanzee territory.
After breakfast, drive south through scenic countryside and the Albertine Rift. Arrive in Fort Portal, gateway to Kibale Forest. Afternoon at leisure or optional crater lakes hike with stunning views.

Kibale — Chimpanzee Tracking
Morning chimp trek in Kibale Forest.
Morning briefing at Kanyanchu, then trek into the rainforest to find habituated chimpanzee communities. Up to 4 hours observing chimps swinging, feeding and socialising. Also spot red colobus monkeys, L'Hoest's monkeys & mangabeys. Afternoon optional Bigodi Wetland walk for birding and primates.

Boat cruise & tree-climbing lions.
Morning Kazinga Channel boat cruise — hippos, buffaloes, elephants and incredible birdlife right from the boat. Afternoon drive to the Ishasha sector to search for the famous tree-climbing lions lounging in fig trees — a sight found almost nowhere else on Earth.

Scenic drive to gorilla territory.
Morning drive through lush landscapes to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and home to roughly half the world's remaining mountain gorillas. Afternoon community walk or rest before tomorrow's big adventure.

Bwindi — Mountain Gorilla Trekking
THE highlight — face to face with mountain gorillas.
Early briefing at the park headquarters, then trek into the dense forest with expert trackers. The trek can last 2–6 hours depending on gorilla location. Spend a magical hour with a habituated gorilla family — watching silverbacks, mothers and babies in their natural habitat. A truly life-changing, once-in-a-lifetime experience.

Bwindi — Entebbe Departure
Return to Entebbe for departure.
After breakfast, drive back to Entebbe (or optional domestic flight). Stop at the equator for photos! Transfer to Entebbe Airport for your departure flight. End of an incredible Uganda safari!
